Refunds, Policies, and Waiver for Intuitive Painting at Jordan Lake MAY 2021
I understand that life may bring unexpected surprises, and sometimes people must cancel their class or workshop. Please help me continue to offer intuitive painting at a variety of venues by reading and adhering to the policies below.
If a student chooses to transfer to another workshop, the transfer policies are as follows.
> > The student must contact the instructor, Heather Gerni, to make arrangements for a transfer.
> > Workshops cannot be transferred to those at the Durham Arts Council, The ArtsCenter, or other art facilities that handle their own registrations.
> > In the event there is a price discrepancy, the difference must be paid at the time of transfer.
> > Space must be available in the course to which you wish to transfer.
> > If an immediate transfer isn’t made, credit will be given to transfer at a future date.
> > The transfer or credit must be completed by May 5, 2021.
Because transferring isn’t always an option, the refund policies are as follows.
> > Requests for withdrawals and refunds must be sent to the instructor Heather Gerni.
> > For withdrawals received prior to April 21 2021, students will receive a full refund of tuition minus a 3% processing fee.
> > For withdrawals received after April 21, 2021 but no later than May 5, 2021, students will receive a 75% refund of tuition minus a 3% processing fee.
> > Requests to withdraw from a course after May 5, 2021 will not be eligible for tuition refunds.
> > There are no refunds for no-shows or for withdrawals after a course begins.
Workshops are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations for this workshop will be determined on May 7, 2021. If the course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the student will receive a 100% refund.
This is a rain or shine event; however, if inclement weather is so severe that the workshop is cancelled, the student will receive a 100% refund or have the option to transfer to another upcoming workshop.
